Chicken tenderloin is basically the boneless, skinless white meat found on the inner portion of the chicken breast where the muscles in this part are more tender because they are not used or exercised regularly. This tender cut of meat which is also known as chicken tender, chicken tenderloin or chicken strip is usually long and slender. Recipe #1: Chessy Baked Chicken Tenderloins


Ingredients:


  • 8 chicken tenders
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • parmesan cheese, grated
  • garlic salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Instructions:


First, preheat the oven to 425°F (218°C). After that, pour the melted butter into the baking pan and coat the chicken tenders inside it. Season the chicken tenders with garlic salt and pepper. Sprinkle some grated parmesan cheese over them and before bake them for 25 minutes. Be sure to add more parmesan cheese half way through baking. Serve and enjoy!





Recipe #2: Spicy Baked Chicken Tenders


Ingredients:


  • 8 chicken tenders
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • dash hot pepper sauce
  • 1/3 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 1/2 cup oat bran flakes, crushed

Instructions:


First of all, preheat the oven to 375°F (191°C). Next, in a mixing bowl, add in the yogurt, lemon juice, hot sauce and Dijon mustard. Combine and mix well. Dip the chicken tenderloins into the yogurt mixture and coat both sides with the crushed oat bran flakes. Finally, place the coated chicken tenders on a greased cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
