Although cheese may has lots of fat in it, some cheese have less fat than others. Nevertheless, when used in moderation as an ingredient for baking chicken, cheese can be good for your health as it is rich in calcium, protein, riboflavin and B12.

Recipe #1: Homemade Cheese Baked Chicken


Ingredients:


  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 2 cups bread stuffing mix
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 3/4 cup margarine, melted
  • 1/2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions:


First, to make the crumb mixture, in a bowl, add in the cheese, bread stuffing mix, garlic salt, pepper and parsley. Combine and mix well. Dip the chicken pieces in melted margarine and then in the crumb mixture. In a bowl, add in the mushroom soup and water. Mix well and pour it into the bottom of the baking dish. Arrange the chicken pieces on the soup and sprinkle the top with the remaining crumb mixture. Bake it for 75 minutes at 350°F (176°C). Serve and enjoy!





Recipe #2: Cheese Baked Chicken Breasts


Ingredients:


  • 3 pounds chicken breasts
  • 4 slices bread
  • 4 ounces cheddar cheese
  • 5 sprigs parsley
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon accent
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

Instructions:


First of all, in a mixing bowl, add in the cheddar cheese, parsley, accent, garlic salt, salt and pepper. Combine and mix well. Next, dip the chicken breasts in melted butter and roll them in the cheese mixture to coat both sides. Finally, arrange the coated chicken breasts in a greased baking pan and bake for 50 minutes at 350°F (177°C). Remove from oven and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
