How Long To Bake Chicken Cutlets?

Before you start asking how long you should bake chicken cutlets, you need to understand that chicken cutlets can get very dry when you bake them. To prevent them from losing their moisture during the baking process, you want to basically season them and wrap them in a large aluminum foil with some potato pieces or onions.

The baking time will mainly depend on the thickness of the cutlets. The thicker the meat is, the longer it will take before the heat can cook through it. Generally, it takes about 30 minutes to cook through the chicken cutlets if you bake them at 350.

Nevertheless, you should double check if the meat inside is fully cooked first before you serve them. The best way to do so is to either slice into them or poke them and see if the juices that come out are clear. If the inside is not pink and the juices are not bloody, you can safely remove them from the oven and let them rest for at least 10 minutes before serving them.
