How Long To Bake Chicken Strips?

If you're planning to bake raw chicken tenderloins, knowing how long to bake them can determine the moisture and juiciness of your chicken strips. Generally, the thicker the chicken strips, the longer it will take for them to be fully cooked. Similarly, the higher the temperature inside the oven, the faster they will cook.

Below is a quick guide on how long it will take to bake chicken strips:

  • At 475°F (246°C), 12 minutes
  • At 400°F (204°C), 15 minutes
  • At 350°F (177°C), 25 minutes

In some cases, even when the tops have turned golden brown, the inside of the meat may still be pink and the juices not clear. Another way of telling whether the chicken tenderloins are fully cooked is to insert a meat thermometer into the biggest one and check its internal temperature. If it reads 165°F (74°C), it is a clear that they are baked just right.
